Demian is an associate in the Corporate and M&A team at CMS Bratislava. His core work involves various local and international projects including advising on corporate and commercial law issues (corporate housekeeping, day-to-day management, commercial agreements) as well as mergers and acquisitions (due diligence, negotiating and drafting transaction documentation, post-closing assistance). 

He gained extensive M&A experience during acquisition and disposal transactions as well as group reorganization projects spanning various industry sectors. Demian regularly advises investors, developers and HNWIs on all stages of transaction process. In addition to that, Demian's work also includes financing, FIDIC, and competition law matters.

  • Vaillant GmbH on comprehensive legal advice in connection with its EUR 120m greenfield investment project in Slovakia for the construction of a production plant focused on the production of heat pumps including FIDIC and state aid law matters.
  • Eterus Capital, a PE fund targeting SMEs with growth potential, in connection with their investment into MTBIKER group, Slovakia’s leading cycling e-commerce retailer. 
  • Large Slovak electricity and gas supplier, Západoslovenská energetika, a.s., on the sale of its real estate assets and subsequent construction and purchase of its new headquarters building in the Bratislava ̉s new downtown.
  • Rapidly growing Slovak start-up company on corporate project project in connection with the Delaware flip of the ownership structure and investor relations into the US vehicle.
  • Lender (a club of predominantly German banks) on reorganization of a logistic company group and related implications for security documentation.
