Trade Mark Filings & Prosecution

Back to Trade Marks

Our Trade Mark team is experienced in devising national, regional and global filing strategies, including for confidential launches. We regularly advise on protecting all categories of trade mark, from words, logos and slogans, through to non-traditional trade marks, such as multimedia and shape marks, and translations/transliterations.

We are familiar with the nuances of filing in all territories, as well as making use of appropriate regional and international routes to protection, i.e. WIPO/Madrid and the EUIPO. We can guide you through the different registry processes, including statements of use and formality requirements, e.g. Powers of Attorney. We represent clients directly before the UKIPO, EUIPO and WIPO, and work with our network of CMS and other trusted firms around the world to provide global reach.

We work with clients to maximise the use of budget to achieve the right mix of protection in terms of brands, timing and geography. We are flexible in how we interact with clients and ensure our reporting style meets your business and stakeholders’ needs.

We offer a 24/7 client extranet where you can view the status of your portfolio, including applications and registrations, in real time.
