CMS advises Axpo on the acquisition of LINIA AG

Zurich, April 2024 | The Zurich-based start-up company LINIA AG is active in the field of automated inspection of electricity pylons and overhead lines using automated drone flights and, for this purpose, has developed the proprietary software solutions LINIAair and LINIApower. These integrated software solutions allow for a digitalised inspection process that significantly increases inspection quality, speed and safety while reducing costs and CO2 emissions.

Axpo Grid AG is convinced of LINIA's solutions and has acquired all shares from LINIA AG's founders. The founders will stay with the company and further develop the automated inspection business under the brand name LINIA.

A team from CMS Switzerland, led by partner Stephan Werlen, advised Axpo on all legal matters of the transaction.
